There are a few different ways to get Moon Dust, but they all involve spending currency.

The main way to get more is from the Wretched Broker, who will sell you Moon Dust for 80 Bones each. If you want more, you can get eight at once if you spend 4 of Charon’s Coupons on a shipment, although it will take 80 encounters to arrive at the Crossroads.

There is also a chance that you’ll mind a Moon Dust in Charon’s store at the end of Tartarus, as well as at the Summit of Mount Olympus – right before you fight the respective final bosses of those runs. It will cost a whopping 1,000 gold though, so it’s generally not worth it, and you should instead invest in Bones and Charon’s Coupons to get your hands on what you’ll need.

However, once you get into the late game, you will eventually be granted the ability to craft Moon Dust in the cauldron. There are two incantations that do this:

  • Moonlit Essence from Shadows – 1 Cinder, 1 Shadow – 5 Moon Dust
  • Moonlit Essence from Stars - 1 Star Dust - 3 Moon Dust

Cinder is obtained every time you defeat Hecate in Erebus, while Shadow must be crafted in he cauldron. Check out our guide on how to get Star Dust in Hades 2 to learn more about that.
