One of the most exciting CS:GO events of the fall, ESL One New York 2017, is fast approaching. Now, we can take a look at how the action will play out at the event as the format information and groups were recently revealed.

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament will feature two groups of four teams that will play out double elimination scenarios to determine who will make it to the bracket. Opening and winners matches will be best of one, while elimination and decider matches will be best of three.

Playoffs will all be single elimination. Semifinals will be best of three while grand finals will be the coveted best of five.

Group B is shaping up to be the tougher of the two groups with FaZe still needing results to prove how dominant their super team can be. It'll be tough for them with Astralis, Team Liquid, and Virtus.pro in their group.

SK Gaming should be able to handle things coming in as the number one ranked team. They'll have to face the 2016 ESL One New York champions as Na`Vi looks to defend their title after reacquiring Danil "Zeus" Teslenko.

All the action and more will play out September 16-17 in Brooklyn, NY at the famous Barclays Center.
