As an exciting day of the ESL Pro League comes to a close, it's time to take a look back at the day's matches.

Team LDLC.com 2-0 GODSENT

  • LDLC 16:9 GODSENT (Inferno)
  • LDLC 16:8 GODSENT (Overpass)

BIG 2-0 Heroic

  • BIG 19:15 Heroic (Train)
  • BIG 16:1 Heroic (Overpass)

Team LDLC played strong today, shutting out GODSENT on the back of a strong map two performance from Kevin "Ex6Tenz" Droolans.

In the end, GODSENT just couldn't keep up with LDLC, falling victim to the quick, aggressive play of Ex6Tenz and Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez. Ex6tenZ pulverized GODSENT on Overpass, finishing with a K/D of 30-12 and a rating of 1.96.

It seems the magic they had against Astralis last week has worn off a bit.

BIG also had a stellar day today, although it did not come easy to them.

Heroic put up a real fight on Train, with each half being split 7:8 and 8:7 respectively. Each team put up similar numbers but, ultimately, BIG were able to pull away for the win in overtime.

Moving on to Overpass, things started to get rough for Heroic. BIG kicked it into overdrive, losing only one round in the first half. The second match concluded in a commanding BIG victory of 16-1, lead mostly by Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz. tabsen finished the game with a K/D of 21-8 and a 1.86 rating.

Heroic, on the other hand, had a brutal day offensively as only one of their players finished with a positive K/D. Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer closed out the series 26-24 which just was not nearly enough to keep his team in contention.

Things have recently been looking up for Heroic, so hopefully this 16-1 loss is simply the result of a bad day and not a team in shambles.

The matches today may be complete, but there is plenty more Counter-Strike to look forward to. Be sure to tune in to ESL's official Twitch channel tomorrow to catch all the action.
