SK mopped the floor with everybody today, taking out NiP, NRG, and Misfits on their way to a 4-1 record. NiP only won one match, and even lost a very surprising match to Misfits.

As a result of their 2-3 record, they ended the group stage in fifth place and would not be moving on to the playoffs.

Misfits were playing fantastic as a team, but it was Sean "seang@res" Gares and "Shahzen "ShahZaM" Khan who stole the show, combining for 50 total kills. Seang@res in particular finished with a 1.38 rating, and also picked up some nice offensive plays like the quad kill shown above.

NRG came crashing back down to earth after their surprising start on day one, which included a win against NiP. Today though, they got dominated by both SK and OpTic. The loss to OpTic was a particularly brutal loss, with the match ending 16:3. As a result, they finished the group stage in fourth place, ahead of NiP by only one point.

Now, Misfits and OpTic Gaming make their way to the playoffs where they will battle it out against HellRaisers and Fnatic respectively.

The playoffs begin on Dec. 8, and will be broadcast live on the ESL Counter-Strike Official YouTube channel. The first match will be between Fnatic and OpTic, and will take place at 10:00 a.m EST.
