With the group stage complete, we move ahead to the ESL Pro League grand final playoffs. We begin with the quarterfinal matches, with the first game taking place between OpTic Gaming and Fnatic. The winner of this best of three series will move on to play FaZe Clan in the semifinals. Let's take a look at the matchup.

Breaking it Down

On the surface this seems like a pretty one-sided matchup. Given their history, Fnatic should have this match in the bag, but recent performances by both teams have shown that this could truly be anyone's game.

Fnatic had a big loss against HellRaisers on day one, falling 16:5, and HR isn't exactly on another level compared to OpTic Gaming. When you take into account the fact that OpTic picked up a win against SK Gaming, it's highly possible they pull some tricks out of their sleeve to secure the win.

The match will begin at 10:00 a.m EST on Dec. 8, and will be broadcast live on the ESL Counter-Strike official YouTube channel. This should be a pretty heated match up, so make sure you get there early to catch all the intense action.
