The ESL Pro League Finals in Odense, Norway didn't just see some quality CS:GO action from the best teams in the world. The Sparekassan Fyn Arena in Odense saw record-breaking numbers with over 5,000 fans in attendance to sell out the arena for the finals. 


The event also saw the most online viewership for an event at 388,000 concurrent viewers throughout the event. The official ESL Twitter tweeted out an infographic showing all the numbers for the event. 

The event also goes down in history as the fastest selling CS:GO event in history, all of this points to the CS:GO esports space is on the up after another great event. It helps that the teams competing always put on a show for the fans. It was SK Gaming who took home the trophy of this record breaking event, they defeated FaZe Clan 3-1 in the Grand Final. 


The viewership on the live streams presented a 95% growth from the season five finals, not to mention social media was on fire with mentions of the event on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. A total of 110 million impressions were generated on those three sites alone. 


It was a record breaking event and overall a great year for ESL Pro League Season 6. The league will be back starting Feb. 13 and will see more quality CS:GO action every week with the best of the best competing. So, be sure to tune in and help them break more records!
