LGD Gaming will be flying to Poland next month after clean sweeping LGD.Forever Young in the grand finals of the ESL One Katowice China Qualifiers.

LGD dominated the competition and met its sister team in the finals to secure a spot in the upcoming ESL One Katowice Major.

Unlike LGD, LFY received a tier one invite to the qualifiers, which meant an automatic berth in the quarterfinals. LGD had to play one more match than its sister team and proved itself to be the best of the bunch.

LGD now joins OG, Fnatic and Effect as teams to qualify for the ESL One Katowice Major, the first Dota 2 major to be hosted in Poland. The 16-team event includes a $1 million prize pool and, most importantly, circuit points for teams to increase their chances of participating in The International 8 later this year. The Major will start on Feb. 24.
