The Talon eSports organization announced its return to competitive Overwatch over multiple forms of social media today. The Chinese based team will join forces with the past winners of the Overwatch Pacific Championship Season 2, Team Ardeont, a South Korean based organization.

The groups will join forces in preparation for the upcoming Contenders season which will allow many Chinese players to gain needed exposure, with the only current focus on Chinese Overwatch going to the struggling Shanghai Dragons Overwatch League team.

Talon has not fielded an Overwatch team since July when their first roster disbanded. At the moment, it is unclear whether they will build a new roster for Contenders or continue building the talent with the Team Ardeont core which consists of Jeong "ANAMO" Tae-seong (support), Bong "Republic" Geun-chan (tank), Choi "Michelle" Min-hyuk, Kwon "JEFF" Min-seok (support), Jeong "Erster" Joon.

It is also unclear where the headquarters of the new combined Overwatch team will be, as both were initially Chinese but Ardeont moved to South Korea in preparation for Contenders. However, it certainly seems as if Talon has a plan to become completely based in China with a new gaming house being built there.
