It was announced on Geguri's twitch stream that she had been accepted by a foreign Overwatch team. This was originally highlighted on Reddit in a thread posted by "TISrobin311."

Geguri is known to be one of the best female Overwatch players. Formerly on ROX Orcas, she is known for her aimbot-like aim on Zarya, where she has been accused for hacking on many different occasions. However, she has proven her legitimacy with a hand camera.

Geguri is mainly a flex and tank player who plays characters other than Zarya, like D.Va and Roadhog.

To keep many fans guessing, Geguri took the time to follow every single team in the Overwatch League on Twitter.

If it does happen, it is exciting news to see the Overwatch League have its first female player join the ranks. While some games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive have had success stories for female competitors, other esports titles that have attempted to bring female players to their ranks in the past have struggled to execute it properly.

Geguri's talent as a player should help her be a success story for the Overwatch League.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article stated that in the headline Geguri had joined an OWL team. That was incorrect as it currently just stands as speculation.
