LA Valiant has confirmed the addition of J.M.R. Luna as their first Vice President of Content and Production ahead of the Overwatch League's Stage 2. 

​​J.M.R. Luna brings with him a considerable amount of experience in filmmaking, having been a producer on Hollywood films such as Helicopter Mom and Echoes of War, as well as directing the feature film, Tell. In addition, he also has experience in the esports scene, having most recently having worked with the Evil Geniuses.

Luna will bring his Hollywood expertise and his passion for esports together to produce high-quality content for Valiant. He will bring the two worlds together to produce content similar to NFL Films or even Hard Knocks TV Series, and ESPN's 30 For 30 documentary series. 

In getting to know the players, it will allow fans to connect with their favorite stars. 

As said by the Valiant CEO, Noah Whinston, "It's about giving you a look behind the scenes. Giving you insight into the life of a pro player, and presenting everyone in our organization as humans, not just as people on a screen."
