Battlefield 6 is out now, and while we’re still currently waiting on the launch of Season One and the battle royale mode, the game is off to an amazing start. There are presently nine multiplayer maps to enjoy, and some of them are truly massive, while others can be sectioned off neatly for intense close-range firefights.

It’s a fantastic blend of strategies and approaches, and it’s set to expand vastly before the end of the month. We’re breaking down every multiplayer map you can currently play at launch so you can prepare your strategies for each.

All multiplayer maps in BF6 at launch

These are all nine maps available to play in Battlefield 6 at launch.

Siege of Cairo

Siege of Cairo’s central area is its most iconic spot, with bombs leaving craters in the streets that you can now use to sneak up on enemies. The main street with two opposing rows of buildings becomes a constant flood of bullets, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Iberian Offensive

The Iberian Offensive is another map set in a populated zone, so some of the building layouts will feel similar to Cairo. This one is set in Gibraltar though, and the warzone has more open stretches to the sides of the map that allow for sniper gameplay.

Liberation Peak

The Liberation Peak mountainside is a favorite for eager snipers. There’s a lot of open space in this map to allow for vehicle gameplay, but infantry can sneak between settlements and buildings pretty efficiently to stay safe, too.

Empire State

Empire State has long open stretches for snipers outdoors, while inside buildings are more destructible and offer great ranges for shotgun and SMG players.

Operation Firestorm

A fan-favorite map from Battlefield 3 finally makes its triumphant return in Battlefield 6. You already know everything you need to know about this one.

Saints Quarter

Loads of narrow streets and paths alongside loads of destructible buildings in Saints Quarter, which is set in Gibraltar’s Old Town.

New Sobek City

Located in Cairo’s suburbs, New Sobek City is very new – as in, still under construction – and has now been turned into a brutal warzone amongst the sand dunes.

Mirak Valley

Battlefield 6’s largest map at launch is Mirak Valley, where you’ll be using winding trenches to navigate a huge warzone. You’ll find every type of vehicle in this map, ensuring complete chaos.

Manhattan Bridge

Another close-quarters map set in the streets below the Manhattan Bridge. You can weave between cars and buildings with an SMG, or you can take a helicopter and rain bullets down on the roads below.
