Battlefield 6 bot lobbies: How to farm XP against bots

Battlefield 6 is out now, but if you run straight online and charge at the enemy, you’ll probably get your head blown clean off. It’s brutal out there on the battlefield, and if you want to survive, you need experience — both in the literal, hands-on sense, and in-game to unlock the best equipment.

If you want to explore maps at ease while levelling up weapons and your equipment against bots, we have good news for you. Battlefield 6’s overloaded player counts right now have restricted certain other in-game features, and this has resulted in some select lobbies being populated entirely with bots.

In this guide we’re breaking down how to enter yourself into a bot lobby in Battlefield 6 so you can farm XP with your weapons and equipment before going online against real players.

How to enter a bot lobby to farm XP – BF6

Keep in mind that this bot lobby setup currently works because of Battlefield 6’s overloaded player capacity, and you can expect it to be fixed in a future post-launch update. How long that may take is hard to tell.

If you want a lobby filled with bots in Battlefield 6, then your best option is to use Player Created Content. First, you’ll need to enable “Show Player Created Content” which can be found in the Settings menu under System and Setup.

Now on the Main Menu scroll down to the Community tab, and look for a Hardcore Conquest option. You can try to Host a game, but that will likely fail.

Instead, go to Browse Servers and attempt to join the servers in the list. Attempt to join as many as you like, and if the game starts loading in, you’ll likely be thrown into a lobby filled with bots and no other real players.

If the Hardcore Conquest option doesn’t work for you, instead of clicking Browse Servers or Host, instead use View More By Creator. On this menu, instead try to start up a Rush game. Once again, first attempt to Host a game, and then follow this up by joining servers if hosting a game doesn’t work.

For us this launched us into a game of Rush with useless NPC opponents, and we were able to cruise through a round with 22 Kills and 0 Deaths. Your allies will come to revive you, but they will be slow about it. You can use these bot lobbies to learn map layouts and strategies while you level up your chosen weapons and equipment. Yes, this also levels up your rank.
