Chaos Zero Nightmare – How to reroll

Didn’t get the Chaos Zero Nightmare character you wanted from your initial pulls? No problem, as CZN allows you to reroll quite easily, giving you another chance to land the Agent you want.

If you’re unfamiliar with gacha games, rerolling is the act of giving up on your current account progress and starting anew to use the initial burst of resources you get to try for a stronger or simply more desirable starting roster of characters.

In CZN, you don’t need to make extra accounts, as the game simply allows you to reset your progress and start the game fresh on the same account. The bad news is that you can’t skip dialog, so it’s somewhat time-consuming to go through a reroll.

How to reroll in Chaos Zero Nightmare

Follow these steps to reroll your CZN account:

1. Play through the tutorial until you’ve completed Chapter 1-2: Eye of the Storm; this includes finishing Prologue 1 and 2 as well as Chapter 1-1: Back to the Blue Pot.
2. Pull for characters from the Combatant Rescue banner, the game’s Standard banner, until you get a 5-Star Agent.
3. Pull for characters from the Special Rescue Request banner, the game’s Beginner banner, until you get a 5-Star Agent.
4. If you’re happy with your pulls, then you’re done at this point — if you want to reroll, continue by entering the main menu and navigate to settings.
5. Navigate to the bottom section in settings showing the person as an icon.
6. Click the “Reset server” button and then enter your username to confirm.

Step 6 resets your account, allowing you to repeat the process. It takes about 20 minutes to get through the required missions.

Characters to reroll for in Chaos Zero Nightmare

What are your reroll targets in CZN? Obviously, if you have a personal favorite character design or something of the sort, that’ll likely be your goal. If you are rerolling for meta purposes, there is more value in getting some characters than there is in others.

Best reroll characters in CZN

• Mei Lin (DPS) – Mei Lin is a powerful single-target damage dealer and can apply her Attribute to enemies as a Weakness, so she’s useful in most scenarios. She also has tons of self-buffs, making her pretty independent of her team composition. Her sole drawback is a lack of area-of-effect damage.
• Khalipe (Shielder) – Khalipe is a potent shielder and area-of-effect damage dealer with good card draw abilities. Although her strongest cards all come with high AP costs, she can play most of them for free due to their Celestial mechanic.

If you are looking for single-target damage, then Renoa, Hugo, or Rin are also strong options. Kayron is a strong area-of-attack option, while Magna delivers a potent mix of shielding and debuffing.
