CK3 nicknames – All epithets and how to get them
By Marco Wutz

Epithets – a fancy word for what we’d simply call nicknames today – are one of the aspects that let historical characters loom larger and more colorful in chronicles and works of fiction alike.
William is the Conqueror just as Alexander is the Great. Naturally, not all epithets are flattering — ask Louis the Stammerer or Charles the Fat. Be it good or bad, famous or infamous, getting an epithet in Crusader Kings 3 is always a memorable moment for your current character, since it describes the journey they’ve taken so far in some way.
But which nicknames exist in CK3 and how can you obtain them?
All obtainable CK3 nicknames and unlock conditions
Note that many of these nicknames are obtained by chance when fulfilling the requirements, so it's not guaranteed that you'll receive the one you want upon completing the corresponding conditions.
