Ghost of Yotei: All Familiar Locations

The Yotei Grasslands are deeply connected to Atsu’s history and past in Ghost of Yotei, and that’s why you can come across Familiar Locations. These places will cause Atsu to reminisce about her younger days with her brother and her parents, and this will help you learn more about Atsu’s backstory and current-day motivations.

There are several flashback sequences to enjoy inside Atsu’s home, but there are also three more Familiar Locations that provide flashbacks across Ghost of Yotei’s Yotei Grasslands region. We recommend you see each Familiar Location flashback before leaving the area, as they will help embellish the story for plot beats to come. 

We’re listing each Familiar Location – outside of Atus’s Home – in the Yotei Grasslands and where to find them.

Familiar Location 1

The first Familiar Location can be found West of Atsu’s Home, before the Plum Crane Sumi-e.

Familiar Location 2

Continue West from Atsu’s home over the river and you’ll eventually find the second Familiar Location. This location is just North of The Old Widow’s Garden.

Familiar Location 3

As the story continues, you’ll eventually come to Master Heijiro’s Garden, which is East of the White Dye House and South of the Outcrop Homestead. The third Familiar Location is in Master Heijiro’s Garden, and will help you communicate with the older Master Heijiro.
