Ghost of Yotei: All Fox Den locations

Ghost of Yotei’s Fox Dens can lead you to special Shrines and unique vanity items to customize Atsu during your journey. While they’re hardly essential for your journey, you will get a final reward for completing every Fox Den in the game, and they’re also required to pray at all Shrines in the game.
Each fox in a Fox Den will lead you to a special area, you just have to follow it from its den. In this guide we’re breaking down every Fox Den location, it’s then up to you to follow them and reap the rewards.
All Fox Den locations
Yotei Grasslands Fox Den locations
Yotei Grasslands is a big area, and hides three Fox Dens.
Grassy Hill Fox Den
Located on the path leading toward Ishikari Plain.
Flowing Water Fox Den
Found on the Tranquil Falls river, Northwest of the Weary Traveller’s Camp.
Lake View Fox Den
Found on the opposite side of Lake Shikotsu to Atsu’s home.
Tokachi Range Fox Den locations
Tokachi Range has two more Fox Dens to find.
Whispering Woods Fox Den
Found on the Eastern edge of the Shizunai Woods, North of the Mysterious Gate.
Warm Plains Fox Den
Located North of Dead Man’s Tree, near the Saito Encampment.
Ishikari Plain Fox Den locations
Ishikari Plain includes two Fox Dens.
Twin Path Fox Den
Located between the Masked Man’s Quarry and Sensei Takahashi’s Dojo.
Fire Fox Den
Found South of Higashi Lumberyard, Northeast of Ishikari Farm.
Nayoro Wilds Fox Den locations
Sadly, Nayoro Wilds lack any Fox Dens.
Teshio Ridge Fox Den locations
You can find two Fox Dens in Teshio Ridge.
High Wall Fox Den
Located to the North, near Sarufutsu River. Southeast of Master Enomoto’s Dojo.
Winding River Fox Den
Found along Teshio River, just East of Ran’s Workshop.
Oshima Coast Fox Den locations
Oshima Coast is hiding a single Fox Den.
Blushing Forest Fox Den
Found North of Matsumae Castle, South of Miyama Village.
Final Fox Den reward
When you complete every Fox Den, you’ll be able to return to the Sanctuary Grove in Teshio Ridge (South of Sarufutsu Lighthouse) to receive the Kitsune’s Mask. This is unrelated to the Kitsune you’ll be hunting as a part of the Yotei Six.
