Grounded 2 Buggy disappeared: How to recover them

Your Buggy will be your faithful companion for a while in Grounded 2, which is why it can be annoying when it randomly disappears for one reason or another. However, if this doesn’t happen, don’t worry, as there are a couple of different things that can cause your Buggy to vanish for a while, but they will always come back. We’ll explain why your Buggy might have disappeared and when it will return.

Why did my Buggy disappear? – Grounded 2

The first option is that it was defeated. If it runs out of health, it will go down, and you’ll have limited time to revive it. If you fail, then it will disappear, but don’t worry, it’s not dead. Instead, it will revive after roughly one in-game day. You’ll get a pop-up message on your screen when it revives, although you should be aware that it will revive at the spot where it was defeated and will gradually make its way back to your current location.

The other option is that you entered a space where you can’t ride on Buggys. This is mostly tight spaces, like the research stations you can find around. If you try to get a Buggy inside one of these locations, it will disappear, and you’ll get a pop-up saying your Buggy will return to you “when it’s safe”.  This generally means once you leave whatever area you’ve entered, though sometimes it will also teleport to you if you enter a boss fight, like one of the tougher O.R.C. controlled enemies.

Either way, you just have to head back to your base and wait a little while and your Buggy will always find its way back home.
