Hogwarts Legacy Halls of Herodiana Depulso puzzle solutions

Hogwarts Castle is full of hidden chambers, but none are quite as complex and puzzling as Herodiana’s puzzle chamber. You’ll have to go into this place during the Halls of Herodiana quest, which you’ll be told focuses on the Depulso spell. This is technically true, but it’s a little misleading, as you’ll actually be using Accio just as much.

Hogwarts Legacy: Halls of Herodiana puzzle 1 solution

First of all, you need to get into the room. The quest will lead you down in the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower, then there’s a notch on the wall that you must cast Depulso on to open the chamber.

The first puzzle in front of you will just be two big blocks in the middle of an empty room.

Cast Depulso on these blocks to push them against the wall, then you can climb up.

For puzzle two, start by pulling the lone block on the left over to the right with Accio. This will cause it to join with the other two blocks and form a staircase.

Now use Accio on the staircase to pull it over to the opposite wall.

Pull it towards the exit wall with Accio.

Then use Accio one more time to pull it up against the opposite wall. You’ll now be able to climb up and jump over to the exit.

This third puzzle is the hardest, start by using Accio on the two blocks to pull them up against the right-hand wall, then use Depulso to push it up against the block sticking out of the wall ahead.

Then use Accio to pull it over to the opposite wall. You can now use it to climb over to the solid bricks on the left-hand wall.

At this point, shoot a basic cast at the gold glowing cub statue, this will reset the block’s position.

Once they’re reset, use Accio to pull the blocks out to the exit wall.

One more Accio towards you and they’ll be in position for you to jump over and climb up.

For your trouble, you’ll get Herodiana’s outfit added to your collection as a cosmetic option for your gear.
