All HSR 3.3 Golden Scapegoat solutions and locations

Version 3.3 of Honkai: Star Rail has unlocked a brand-new area for Trailblazers to explore: The Eye of Twilight, a massive floating metropolis serving as the bastion of Aquila, the Sky Titan. As is the case with all maps located on Amphoreus, this sub-region contains more appearances of the Golden Scapegoat puzzle. Okhema and Dawncloud, too, got new layouts in this patch filled with treasures and puzzles.

The rules remain unchanged: You need to guide the goat into the sacrificial pyre without it being caught by its shadow, which mimics its moves — it’s a minigame full of symbolism, given that we now know of Amphoreus’ own cyclical nature.

Golden Scapegoats in Eye of Twilight – Fortress of Dome

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left, Up, Left

Head right after the start and drop onto the second level, then keep on going right to drop down another level. This will give you just enough movement to go back up to the button and end the recorded steps on it. Make your way to the tower on the left side, from where you can drop onto the pyre while your shadow is holding open the gate.

Golden Scapegoat #2

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right

Drop down to the second level on the left side of the starting point and then simply head right. Fall down to the fourth level with your final step, causing your shadow to press the button after catching up with you.

Golden Scapegoats in Eye of Twilight – Cloudedge Bastion Ruins

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Up, Right, Left, Left

March left towards the stairs and climb up, then take a step right before turning back and jumping off the edge, onto the yellow button below. Head up and to safety before the shadow comes around.

Golden Scapegoat #2

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left

You’ll want to determine all of your shadow’s steps on the top floor and then stay one step ahead of it once it’s been spawned in — this way you can send it to the floors below and reach opening trapdoors just in time to use them.

Golden Scapegoat #3

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right

Head to the yellow trapdoor on the left and then turn back, all the way to the platform above the blue button. Then hold down the yellow button once your shadow has appeared, dropping it on to the blue button’s floor.

Golden Scapegoats in Okhema – Fallen Twilight City

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Down, Right, Right, Up, Left, Left

Head to the first set of stairs to the right of the starting point and climb down, then jump to the bottom floor and head to the little tower above the yellow button on this floor. From there, jump down on and head to the blue button. This will make your shadow hold down the blue button, enabling you to access the pyre.

Golden Scapegoat #2

Location:

Solution: Left, Right, Down, Up, Down, Right, Right

Head left after the start to jump onto the second floor and then go right to the stairs, which you’ll need to climb down. Go back up once and come back down, then to the yellow button. This will place your shadow right where you want it, opening the way to the pyre.

Golden Scapegoat #3

Location:

Solution: Left, Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Right

Take three steps to the left after the start and then return to the right side, where the two yellow buttons are. Make sure to keep them pressed as your shadow starts moving, as you want it to drop down where the blue buttons are — they will open the way to the pyre.

Golden Scapegoats in Dawncloud – Lightless Chapel

Golden Scapegoat #1

Location:

Solution: Right, Left, Right, Left, Left, Down, Right

Juggle between the starting point and the trapdoor on the right a few times before veering off to the left and heading down the stairs to the yellow button. Head right one step after reaching the button and then immediately step on it again, so you can drop down the shadow, which will then be able to reach the blue button.

Golden Scapegoat #2

Location:

Solution: Right, Right, Right, Right, Left

Simply head towards the yellow button and overshoot it by one step, then turn around and end your movement phase on it. Then climb up to avoid your shadow and throw yourself into the pyre.

Golden Scapegoat #3

Location:

Solution: Left, Down, Right, Right, Right, Left

Head down the stairs and then jump through the open trapdoor. Overshoot the yellow button by a step, head back, and wait for your shadow to keep the button pressed to get to the pyre.
