Discern the truth of the world with the best Honkai: Star Rail Anaxa build and prepare for your apotheosis. Anaxagoras the Fool is a 5-Star character following The Erudition and dealing Wind DMG, who specializes in Weakness Type implementation.

His Talent, Tetrad Wisdom Reigns Thrice, allows Anaxa to implant a random Weakness Type on any enemy his attacks hit for three turns. Enemies with at least five Weakness Types suffer the Qualitative Disclosure debuff, which increases Anaxa’s damage against them and triggers an extra use of his Skill (without consuming a Skill Point) when he attacks them with his Basic Attack or Skill.

Anaxa’s Skill, Fractal, Exiles Fallacy, deals Wind DMG based on his ATK to a single target and then deals four instances of the same damage to random targets. The Skill DMG increases for every target on the field.

His Ultimate, Sprouting Life Sculpts Earth, inflict Sublimation on all enemies, dealing Wind DMG based on his ATK and causing them to get all seven Weakness Types until the start of their next turn. Anaxa primarily wants more ATK and CRIT Rate, preferring the former over CRIT DMG since the Imperative Hiatus Trace already provides a boatload of that, if he’s got the right team. His CRIT DMG, Energy Regeneration, and SPD are your other considerations. You’ll want him to move early to implant Weaknesses and inflict debuffs before the rest of your team moves.

Since Anaxa can implant Quantum Weakness on enemies, he can make use of the powerful Genius of Brilliant Stars set and its DEF bypass, though its Quantum DMG buff won’t benefit him.

Anaxa is a powerful Sub DPS for Erudition teams due to his Imperative Hiatus Trace, but has a use in many other compositions thanks to his Weakness Type Implant.

• The Herta (Main DPS), Anaxa (Sub DPS), Silver Wolf (Support), Lingsha (Support)

Anaxa is a fantastic companion for The Herta, in case you want to upgrade from 4-Star Herta or need Jade on a different team. His splash damage is great for charging The Herta’s Ultimate — and Weakness Type implementation is always useful. Plus, his Imperative Hiatus Trace provides him and his team with bonuses if there are at least two Erudition characters present: It increases his own CRIT DMG massively and provides a teamwide damage boost. 

Since Anaxa himself deals additional damage for every Weakness Type his targets have, the soon-to-be-buffed Silver Wolf is a great addition to the team. Tribbie, Trailblazer (Remembrance), and Ruan Mei are additional potent Supports for The Herta. Lingsha or Huohuo are the best healers to complete this party.

Anaxa is also a great addition to Acheron teams, as his debuffs help her charge her Ultimate, and can be played as a Main DPS in a hypercarry team with the likes of Sunday, Robin, Bronya, or Sparkle as his Supports.

You can collect Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, and Eternal Lament from enemies on Amphoreus as well as the Simulated Universe. Ethereal Omen is one of the base materials you can easily farm through the Daily Assignments to your characters, making for a steady income of the material. A Glass of the Besotted Era is dropped by the Stagnant Shadow (Penacony Grand Theater) or gained through exchange. The best source of Credits are the Golden Calyxes found on several worlds.
