Bring your iron fist to bear with the best Honkai: Star Rail Luka build and unleash punches that do more than just break some jaws or achieve a one-hit knock-out in the ring. Luka hails from Belobog’s underworld and is the reigning champion of Boulder Town’s fight club, but the boxer also has a sensitive side: He’ll often hang out with the Moles and assist Wildfire in helping out the town. Following the Path of The Nihility, Luka deals Physical DMG and specializes in DoT effects.

Luka’s Skill, Lacerating Fist, deals Physical DMG based on his ATK stat to a single target with a 100% base chance to cause Bleed for three turns. The amount of DoT taken by enemies from Luka’s Bleed is based on their own Max HP and can’t exceed a certain threshold based on Luka’s ATK.

Using his Skill or Basic Attack creates a stack of Fighting Will for Luka, of which he can have up to four. If Luka has two or more stacks of Fighting Will, his Basic Attack is enhanced. Enhanced Basic Attacks will activate Bleed on targets affected by that status one additional time.

His Ultimate, Coup de Grâce, not only creates two stacks of Fighting Will, but has a 100% base chance to debuff the target for three turns, making it take more damage from all sources. It also deals Physical DMG based on his ATK to the target.

Luka’s Eidolon Levels, which can be increased by obtaining additional copies of him, modify his abilities. Eidolon 1 increases his damage for two turns when his target is affected by Bleed. Eidolon 2 grants Luka an additional stack of Fighting Will for hitting enemies with the Physical Weakness through his Skill. Eidolon 4 boosts his ATK for every stack of Fighting Will he has obtained. Finally, Eidolon 6 increases the damage done by his Enhanced Basic Attacks.

Honkai: Star Rail – Luka: best Light Cones

Luka can make great use of any 5-Star Light Cone that The Nihility has to offer so far, benefiting from their ATK and Effect Hit Rate buffs. In terms of more widely available 4-Star Light Cones, his signature weapon Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is a solid option, allowing him to lower the DEF of his targets. Before the Tutorial Mission Starts is another fantastic option for those without a 5-Star Light Cone.

  • Patience is All You Need (5-Star)
  • Incessant Rain (5-Star)
  • In the Name of the World (5-Star)

Honkai: Star Rail – Luka: best Relics

All of Luka’s moves deal Physical DMG and depend on his ATK stat, so it’s pretty clear what you have to concentrate on when it comes to his Relics. Raising his Effect Hit Rate is another priority to make those important Bleeds stick.

Honkai: Star Rail – Luka: best teams

Luka is perfect to complement a DoT-centric line-up as a damage dealer and Physical breaker.

  • Kafka (Main DPS), Luka (Sub DPS), Black Swan (Support), Huohuo (Support)

This team comes with several abilities that increase the amount of DoT enemies take, stacking them up to deal tons of damage between their turns thanks to all of these debuffs. Huohuo can heal the team, dispel debuffs, provide ATK buffs, and restore everyone’s Energy to round things out.

Luka can also be used as a debuff character in teams that don’t focus on DoT (such as Acheron compositions), as his Ultimate is perfect to soften up a single enemy for all kinds of damage.

Ancient Parts are one of the base materials you can easily farm through the Daily Assignments to your characters, making for a steady income of the material. Broken Teeth of Iron Wolf are dropped by the Stagnant Shadow (Great Mine) or gained through exchange. The best source of Credits are the Golden Calyxes found around the universe.

Regret of Infinite Ochema is a rarer material only gained from the Echo of War (Scalegorge Waterscape) domain by beating Phantylia, while Tracks of Destiny can be obtained during time-limited events, the Embers Exchange, the Nameless Honor, or as a Simulated Universe Points Reward.
