Honkai: Star Rail – Luocha build and ascension guide

Heal your allies by going on the offensive with the best Honkai: Star Rail Luocha build. Luocha follows the Path of The Abundance and deals Imaginary DMG, being a healer who doesn’t require a whole lot of Skill Points to do his job.

Luocha’s Skill, Prayer of Abyss Flower, immediately restores the target’s HP based on his ATK and creates one stack of Abyss Flower. In addition, a similar effect automatically occurs whenever an ally’s HP drops below 50%. This auto-heal does not consume a Skill Point and can be triggered every two turns.

His Ultimate, Death Wish, removes one buff from all enemies and deals Imaginary DMG based on Luocha’s ATK. He also gains one stack of Abyss Flower after activating it.

Abyss Flower is used to trigger Luocha’s Talent, Cycle of Life. Whenever Luocha has two stacks of Abyss Flower, he consumes them to envelop all enemies inside a Field. When enemies in the Field are attacked by Luocha’s allies, they regenerate HP based on his ATK stat. This effect is active for two turns and disappears if Luocha is knocked out.

All of Luocha’s Eidolon Levels, which can be obtained by pulling additional copies of him, are pretty cracked. Eidolons 1 and 4 buff the Field effect, adding a 20% ATK boost for all allies as well as applying Weakened on all enemies and reducing their damage by 12%. Eidolon 2 buffs Luocha’s Skill, increasing his Outgoing Healing if the target’s HP are below 30% and allowing him to create a Shield on top of the healing if the target’s HP is over 50%. Eidolon 6 enables his Ultimate to lower the All-Type RES of enemies for two turns.

Honkai: Star Rail – Luocha: best Light Cones

Luocha has a signature Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail called Echoes of the Coffin. It provides the wearer with an ATK boost and regenerates Energy for every opponent hit by an attack from the wearer. Upon activating their Ultimate, the wearer boosts their allies’ SPD for one turn.

Since ATK is the defining stat for Luocha’s offensive as well as healing capabilities, there is no reason not to go all in on this attribute. However, that also means that there are currently no other Light Cones aside from his signature item that really play into his strengths.

You can fit Luocha into pretty much any team and won’t be disappointed with his performance. While he lacks some of the added benefits and specializations of other healers, his selling point is the fact that he does not require a lot of Skill Points to do his job, making him a great option for teams that can’t have enough SP.

Imbibitor Lunae is notorious for his Skill Point hunger. Though Sparkle alleviates the problem with her ability to restore additional SP to the team, having Luocha on board to further cut the SP demand is a great way of letting the Main DPS have his cake and eat it, too.

Luocha requires the following ascension materials to get to level 80 in addition to the necessary XP:
