One of the most confusing puzzles in the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Order of Giants DLC is the Tomb of Gibborim, where you must use four staffs and the stories on four murals to determine how to correctly rotate various symbols on the ground to unlock the final cylinder piece you need to uncover the secrets of the giants.

We’ll break down this puzzle step by step so you can complete it.

The first section of the story is pretty simple, and thankfully, there aren’t many circles you can rotate with the first staff. Head up to the circles just to the left of the coffin. You want to turn the boat labelled “Halygast” so that the golden cross is facing to the east (which is where he sun rises), and the town directly below it, labelled “Atheopolis”, should be facing west. Do this correctly, and they’ll sink into the ground, opening the western gate.

Head through the western gate and pull the lever. Avoid the fire and turn the symbols on the three shields the right way up. This will unlock the Shield staff.

For the first part of the mural, turn the green town circle, labelled “Nahkla Pagus” so that it’s facing south. Then turn the circle with the yellow castle labelled “Hori Castrum” to face east. This is all you need to do for this mural and the eastern gate will open. The Sword staff will be lying on the floor, but that’s not the next one you need.

Instead, pull the lever to activate the next puzzle. You need to look at he murals behind the cauldron of fire and see the numbers next to certain parts of the puzzle, then pull the corresponding levers in order. The order you should pull them is:

  • Keys
  • Shield
  • Apple
  • Snake

This will raise the cauldron and let you get the Trinity staff.

First, turn the yellow castle marked “Malum” to face north. Next, the outpost to its west, labeled “Custodis Fastigium”, should be turned to face east. Finally, the circle with the church labeled “Sancti Luciani Ecclesia” needs to face south. With that done, go grab the Sword staff for the final section of the puzzle.

First, turn the red camp labeled “Al-Mansur Castra” to face west. Next, the blue ruins marked “Rudera” need to be turned to face east. And finally for this puzzle, turn the image of two soldiers fighting, marked “Pugna” to face north, the direction of the Crusader statue.

This will open the coffin, revealing the Sword of Gibborim as the statue lowers. Insert the sword into the statue's chest, and its hand will open, letting you take the cylinder segment.
