Kingdom Come 2 DLC: In Service of the Guild quest guide

When you’re well underway in the process of building and upgrading your new forge in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Legacy of the Forge DLC, you will also be tasked with helping your fellow Guild Masters with a few problems they’re having. While most Blacksmith Assignments are simple affairs, tasks from the other Guild Masters are more complex.

The quest In Service of the Guild has Master Bushek asking you to go looking for a sorcerer he was working with that promised him a selection of alchemical ingredients. He’s since gone missing, so it’s up to you to find what Master Bushek was promised. In this guide we’re breaking down how to find Bushek’s missing materials so you can complete the In Service of the Guild quest.

Finding Master Bushek’s alchemical ingredients, In Service of the Guild – KCD2 DLC

You can find the room the Sorcerer was staying in at the inn to the West of Kuttenberg’s West Gate. Go upstairs in the third room on the right, you’ll find what remains of the sorcerer and the stench of sulphur.

In the room you’ll find the Strange Riddle, which you can read in the Books section of your Inventory. It reads as follows:

“Were I Peter, I’d behold the holy towers, at least as many as the Master of the Art hath planets. Then I’d fall to the west, end my flight there, to the place of petitioners, where my Saviour guards His treasure.”

It’s a very cryptic riddle, but the mentions of Saint Peter and the holy towers might’ve tipped you off that our missing alchemist is a Christian.

There’s a small Christian shrine hidden in the bushes just to the East of the inn. If you investigate it you won’t find much, but crouch down and check the stones behind the shrine, and you’ll find all of the alchemical ingredients that Master Bushek is missing. 

Return to Master Bushek and you’ll be able to choose between rare ingredients or more Prestige for your smithy once you return the items. You could choose to keep them if you really wanted to, though.
