Kingdom Come 2: DLSS missing or disappearing fix
By Dave Aubrey

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has just received its second of three major DLC additions (the first being Brushes of Death, the second being Legacy of the Forge), and it is better optimised than ever before. Genuinely, if you first played this game on PC at launch, you’ll find its current state to be remarkably improved — and it didn’t exactly run badly in the first place.
Despite all of the updates, additions, and improvements, the game still has a few issues, mind. I have a handful of bugged quests remaining from my launch save file, and the peskiest of bugs has reared its head again: DLSS disappearing as an upscaling option, leaving behind only FSR 3.1 and XeSS.
This has been a recurring issue since KCD2 first launched, but with a few minor tweaks we believe we’ve found a way to reliably fix the issue.
KCD2 DLSS fixes
How to fix KCD2 DLSS via Nvidia App – KCD2 DLSS
This is an obvious suggestion to start with, but you should ensure that the latest Nvidia drivers are downloaded and updated on your machine — and of course, only more recent Nvidia GPUs are capable of using the DLSS technology.
Once you’ve double-checked that, use the Nvidia App’s Graphics menu to force Nvidia’s recommended graphics settings on KCD2. This should include DLSS, but you can manually scroll down and force your desired DLSS setting in the Driver Settings.
This will likely return DLSS as an option in your graphics settings in KCD2, but in case it doesn’t, ensure that you complete the next step before trying again.
How to fix KCD2 DLSS via Bluetooth settings – KCD2 DLSS
I know it sounds weird, but commenters on Reddit discussed this fix, and after trying it myself, it seemed to actually work.
Open your PC’s Bluetooth settings – this can be done on Windows by pressing the Windows key and typing “Bluetooth” – and simply turn it off. Most modern motherboards have Bluetooth included as a feature and it will be on by default. Turn it off.
Now reattempt to force DLSS on via the Nvidia App as mentioned in the last step, and open KCD2 again. I know it sounds strange, but it’s very likely that you’ll regain access to DLSS upscaling, included the new Transformer model.
