Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of a much older game, on top of being the first game in the series chronologically. That’s a very weird place for it to sit, and means you can play around with some of the characters and events in fun ways.

You might already know that Revolver Ocelot is a returning character throughout the Metal Gear Solid franchise, and that means he cannot die here in Snake Eater, obviously. Well, he can, but it would ruin the story. If you want to ruin the story though, you’ll earn the Time Paradox trophy and achievement for killing Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid Delta, and it’s easy.

How to earn the Ocelot Time Paradox trophy – MGS Delta

This is actually pretty easy, once you know what to do. During the first Volgin boss fight you’ll be in a pit after planting explosives on the Shagohod as Ocelot walks around the rim of the pit, watching.

You’re able to use any weapons in this section and Ocelot will not shoot back no matter what. If you simply use the AK-47 to blast away at Ocelot while he’s standing, you’ll be able to quickly earn this achievement, though you can use any lethal weapon to get the job done.

Once done, you will unfortunately get a “game over” screen telling Snake he’s created a time paradox. This will force you to restart the Volgin fight, so make sure to attempt this as the fight first begins, and don’t waste time and effort fighting Volgin first.
