MGS Delta: How to steal Major Raikov’s uniform fast

When you reach Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing for the first time in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, you’ll be tasked with obtaining Major Raikov’s uniform. You will already have a Scientist outfit in your Camo menu, which helps easily get past most guards, but you won’t be able to wield weapons or use CQC while wearing it.

In this guide we’re going to give you instructions on how to earn Major Raikov’s uniform in less than two minutes from restarting at the autosave when you enter the room. If you’ve already spent time in the game and Major Raikov has left his initial route around the building, then this will be difficult to achieve quickly. This uniform is also useful in a later fight with Colonel Volgin.

How to steal Major Raikov’s uniform – MGS Delta

As soon as you enter the room, equip the Scientist camo and change your facepaint to No Paint. From here, immediately head up the stairs in front of Snake on the South side of the room. 

Go to the end of the corridor and hide behind the corner. Await the approaching guard and when he begins to turn towards the stairs, quickly change your camo to something that allows you to use CQC and knock him out.

Now, once again hide behind the corner and wait for Major Raikov to exit from the lab door. When he exits the lab he will notice the unconscious guard and slowly approach him. Once he does, once again use CQC to knock him unconscious.

From here, pick up Raikov’s body and drag him past the lab door and over the bridge walkway in the middle of the room. Raikov’s presence will automatically unlock the door at the end of the walkway, and dragging him near the lockers on the left will conclude the level and give you Raikov’s Uniform. 

You can now use the Uniform camo and the Mask facepaint in order to imitate Major Raikov, and soldiers won’t know it’s not the real deal as long as you don’t stand in front of them for too long.
