The Outer Worlds 2 has a lot of systems that constantly check on how you play the game, which is all in service of the unique flaws system. If you do a lot of any particular behavior, the game will pick up on that and offer you a character flaw. These flaws have both a positive and a negative effect, so it’s up to you whether you want to take them, but some can be very beneficial to certain builds.

When hit, 5% chance to camouflage, but take 5% max HP damage

-40% damage for 8s if clip empties

Repeatedly reload your gun when clip isn't empty

Reckless Leadership

When one companion goes down, other is fully healed

You cannot revive your companions in combat

Don't revive your downed companions regularly

+20% damage to automechanicals
