Palworld: How to catch Neptilius

Palworld’s Tides of Terraria update was a little lighter on new Pals than usual for major updates, but one of the biggest and best that have been added is Neptilius. This Pal joins the likes of Jetragon and Frostallion is legendary Pals that you can catch out in the world, after a tough boss fight.

We’ll show you where to find Neptilius and how to catch them so you can expand your team.

Palworld Neptilius location

Neptilius is in the Tomb of the Glacial Core, which you can find a the far north of the map, just off the northwest coast of the large desert island. This is an instanced fight, which means it has a hard respawn timer of one hour per encounter.

Neptilius is a pure water-type Pal, which means Electric-type damage is what you want to focus on. That said, it only has around 5,000 HP at Level 60, meaning that if you’re in the endgame already, this shouldn’t be too tough of a fight. For catching it, we recommend Ultimate Pal Spheres or better for a reasonable chance of catching it at low health. While Legendary Pal Spheres might work, the chances are so low that it’s not really feasible.
