Pokémon GO Phantom Ruins: All Research Tasks

The Pokémon GO Phantom Ruins event is running from June 14 to 18, 2025, and brings some of the Pokémon appearing at GO Fest: Paris to players worldwide. Gigantamax Inteleon debuts during this event as well.

As is tradition, a variety of Research Tasks and Collection Challenges provides secondary goals and additional rewards for trainers to work towards. Phantom Ruins brings free Field Research and Collection Challenges to the table in addition to a paid Timed Research.

Pokémon GO Phantom Ruins: Timed Research Tasks

The Timed Research Tasks are only available with a ticket costing $1.99 USD or your regional equivalent in the game’s store. You need to claim your rewards before the event ends on June 18, 2025, at 8pm local time — otherwise they’ll become inaccessible.

Pokémon GO Phantom Ruins: Field Research Tasks

Field Research Tasks can be obtained by spinning PokéStops during the event. Unlike Timed Research Tasks, you can finish them whenever you want once you’ve claimed them.

Collection Challenges function similarly to Field Research Tasks: You need to complete them before the event ends in order to claim the rewards, otherwise your efforts will go to waste.
