Pokémon Legends Z-A: How to find and evolve Goomy

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is home to hundreds of Pokémon, from beloved and adorable creatures like Pikachu and Eevee to weird monstrosities like Barbaracle and Stunfisk. Many of these Pokémon can be difficult to find in Lumiose City, and one of the rarer Pokémon that you might want to get your hands on is Goomy. 

In this guide we’ll walk you through where to find Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as well as how to evolve it into Sliggoo and ultimately Goodra. 

Goomy location – Legends ZA 

It is possible to find Goomy in the early-game, with the Dragon-type Pokémon very rarely spawning in multiple places throughout Lumiose City while the weather is rainy. Rain is somewhat rare, with most weather in the game either being sunny or overcast, but you can force rain by waiting on a bench and skipping days and nights until it’s raining. 

Later in the game, there’s a much more consistent way to get Goomy. It spawns rarely in the Lumiose Sewers, regardless of weather. You’ll visit the Lumiose Sewers during the story, after which you’ll be able to return to the area using a different entrance in Bleu Sector 3. 

Goomy is a rare spawn in the sewers, but you can easily reset all spawns by exiting and entering the area again. 

How to evolve Goomy – Legends ZA 

Goomy evolves into Sliggoo at level 40, which should be fairly easy to get to if you caught one in the Lumiose Sewers, as they are usually found at around level 35-37. 

Evolving Sliggoo into Goodra is a little bit more complicated, but thankfully not too difficult. You’ll need to level Sliggoo up to level 50 in the rain, where its evolution will become available. 

Sliggoo can also be found in the wild in many parts of the city, while Goodra can be found fully evolved as a rare Alpha Pokémon in Wild Zone 20.
