Pokémon Legends Z-A: All Mega Stone locations

Mega Evolution is a massive part of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, after having been largely absent from the main series for almost a decade. First introduced in Pokémon X and Y – which were set in Kalos, where Z-A’s Lumiose is located – Mega Evolution lets fully evolved Pokémon temporarily go one step further, tapping into an ancient strength with the help of the bond of a loving trainer. 

Legends: Z-A brings back the mechanic, and in order to use it, you’ll need a Mega Stone. Not every Pokémon can Mega Evolve, but every Pokémon capable of the feat needs to be holding a specific Mega Stone to achieve it — a Garchomp needs a Garchompite, and a Lucario needs a Lucarionite. 

In this guide we’ll go over every obtainable Mega Stone in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, including all returning Mega Stones and new Mega Stones, and how to get them. Be warned that this list contains unannounced Mega Evolved Pokémon. 

Gengarite, Gengar Mega Stone location – Legends ZA 

The Gengarite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 50,000 Poké Dollars. 

Medichamite, Medicham Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Medichamite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 50,000 Poké Dollars. 

Abomasite, Abomasnow Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Abomasite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 50,000 Poké Dollars. 

Scizorite, Scizor Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Scizorite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 50,000 Poké Dollars. 

Garchompite, Garchomp Mega Stone location – Legends ZA 

The Garchompite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 70,000 Poké Dollars. 

Steelixite, Steelix Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Steelixite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 70,000 Poké Dollars. 

Kangaskhanite, Kangashkhan Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Kangaskhanite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 70,000 Poké Dollars. 

Charizardite X, Charizard Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Charizardite X can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 100,000 Poké Dollars. 

Charizardite Y, Charizard Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Charizardite Y can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 100,000 Poké Dollars. 

Blastoisinite, Blastoise Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

The Blastoisinite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available as soon as you get your Mega Ring, and costs 100,000 Poké Dollars. 

Emboarite, Emboar Mega Stone location – Legends ZA 

If you selected Tepig as your starter, AZ will give you the Emboarite alongside your Mega Ring during the story of the game.

If you picked Chikorita or Totodile as your starter, the Emboarite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available in the post-game, after the credits roll, and costs 100,000 Poké Dollars.

Feraligite, Feraligatr Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

If you selected Totodile as your starter, AZ will give you the Feraligite alongside your Mega Ring during the story of the game.

If you picked Chikorita or Tepig as your starter, the Feraligite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available in the post-game, after the credits roll, and costs 100,000 Poké Dollars.

Meganiumite, Meganium Mega Stone location – Legends ZA

If you selected Chikorita as your starter, AZ will give you the Meganiumite alongside your Mega Ring during the story of the game.

If you picked Feraligatr or Tepig as your starter, the Feraligite can be purchased from the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue, south of the Vernal Pokémon Center. It is available in the post-game, after the credits roll, and costs 100,000 Poké Dollars.
