Pokémon TCG Pocket: Eevee Grove expansion card list
As promised last week, the next expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket is now live, and it brings with it a huge amount of new cards.
The Eevee Grove expansion – set A3b – is a single-booster limited set, which as the term suggests comes with one booster pack to open and is roughly equal in size to prior single-booster sets. The previous two single-booster limited sets, Extradimensional Crisis and Shining Revelry, featured 103 cards and 111 cards, respectively.
Eevee Grove is focused primarily on Eevee and its evolutions, collectively known as the Eeveelutions. There are a lot of interesting tools to build an Eevee-focused deck of just about any type – with Water getting the clear boost thanks to Vaporeon and Glaceon both being Water-type – but nothing in particular appears to be game-changingly strong, although a few cards might slip into some of the best meta decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
There’s also a new gimmick in Sweets Relay, a move that multiple Pokémon of multiple types have, which increases in power if the same move was used in the prior turn. That gets wrapped up by Alcremie, which deals 40 damage for each time the Sweets Relay move gets used throughout the match.
There are a total of 107 cards in the Eevee Grove expansion, of which 69 are Standard set cards, 9 are Illustration Rare cards, and 13 are Special Illustration Rare cards — 5 of which have rainbow borders. The set also includes 1 new Immersive Rare card in Eevee ex and 1 new Hyper Rare card, Eevee Bag.
There are also 10 new Shiny Rare cards and 4 new Shiny Rare ex cards.
