Pokémon TCG Pocket Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event: All Missions and rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket has started its latest Mass Outbreak event, following on from previous Mass Outbreak events focused on other types. This time, the event is focused on Ultra Beast cards – the first  Mass Outbreak event to focus on a class of cards rather than a type – with a new flair for both Guzzlord ex and Buzzwole ex as well as plenty of Ultra Beast cards on offer. 

The Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event in Pokémon TCG Pocket takes some parts of lucky draw events and adds a few extra things, including more and even an event-exclusive card flair. This event will run from June 23 to June 29, 2025. 

In this guide we’ll go over all the missions and rewards in the Pokémon TCG Pocket Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event, including the possible Wonder Pick rewards, and how to get rare cards from the event, some of which are useful for making some of the best decks for PvP in TCG Pocket.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event: Missions and rewards

Pokémon TCG Pocket’s latest Mass Outbreak event focuses on Ultra Beast cards and their support, as the name suggests, with the key cards of the event being Buzzwole ex and Guzzlord ex. The Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event has five missions to complete, each of which can be completed once and reward Wonder Hourglasses and Shop Tickets.

Here are all Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event missions and their rewards: 

• Wonder Pick 3 times — Wonder Hourglass x2, Shop Ticket x2
• Wonder Pick 5 times — Wonder Hourglass x3, Shop Ticket x3 
• Collect 5 Ultra Beast cards — Wonder Hourglass x2, Shop Ticket x3 
• Collect 10 Ultra Beast cards — Wonder Hourglass x3, Shop Ticket x5 
• Collect 15 Ultra Beast cards — Wonder Hourglass x4, Shop Ticket x7

All Wonder Picks count towards the Wonder Pick missions, not just event Picks. The same is true of collecting Ultra Beast cards and the two Pokémon ex cards — getting these through booster packs or non-event Wonder Picks also counts towards the missions. If you already own a relevant card, it will not count towards the missions, it has to be newly obtained during the event period.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event: Bonus Pick and Rare Pick cards

In addition to the missions listed above, the Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event also adds Bonus Picks and Rare Picks to the Wonder Pick pool. Bonus Picks cost no energy, and offer up a host of Ultra Beast Pokémon cards and support cards, while Rare Picks cost 3 energy, and contain rare cards such as Buzzwole ex and Guzzlord ex.

• Pheromosa
• Kartana
• Blacephalon
• Xurkitree
• Poipole
• Stakataka
• Beast Wall 
• Beastite
• Lusamine

And here are all the cards that can appear in the Rare Picks:

• Buzzwole ex
• Nihilego
• Guzzlord ex
• Naganadel
• Celesteela

Pokémon TCG Pocket Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak event: Event-exclusive flair

Finally, the Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak adds a new flair to the game, available exclusively for Buzzwole ex and Guzzlord ex cards. Buzzwole ex gets an Orange Bursts Flair and Guzzlord ex gets a Blue Bursts Flair and both are Cosmetic Flair, which means it has effects while the card is on the field or in a binder or display board.This is different from a Battle Flair, which applies when the card is placed onto the field in a card battle. 

Unlike early event flairs, the Pokémon ex event flairs are only available for the base Buzzwole ex (A3a 006) and Guzzlord ex (A3a 043) cards. Other variants of these cards, such as full arts and immersive rares, are not eligible for the flair.
