Silent Hill f: Locker combination puzzle solution

Silent Hill f is home to many puzzles, and among them is a classic of the horror game genre: opening combination locks. These locks are attached to lockers in the middle school Hinako and her friends visit partway through the game, and as we all know, schools are the spookiest of all horror game locations.
There are four lockers to open, each with a unique combination, and one of them is necessary to progress through the game. There’s also an inventory upgrade on offer, so it’s in your best interest to open all of them if you can.
In this guide we’ll go over all of the locker combinations in Silent Hill f on all difficulties.
Silent Hill f locker puzzle: Aoi Takeshi’s locker combination
You get Aoi Takeshi’s locker combination from the origami you find in the Old Annex, which says that their locker combination is Aoi’s name.
Using the girl code you learned earlier, you can figure this out to be 401.
Silent Hill f locker puzzle: Suga Yosie’s locker combination
Suga’s locker combination comes from another piece of origami, obtained after opening Aoi’s locker. The note in Aoi’s locker says that Suga’s locker combination is somewhat sad, as it’s almost like a cry for help.
The correct combination for Suga’s locker is 505, which is girl code for SOS.
Opening this locker gives you an inventory capacity upgrade.
Silent Hill f locker puzzle: Tsuchiya Taiko’s locker combination
This locker combination is found in an origami in a second-floor classroom, which says that “TT’s” locker combination is 377.
Tsuchiya Taiko is the only locker belonging to a character whose name has the initials TT, so the combination for this locker is 377.
Silent Hill f locker puzzle: Asakura Ayumi’s locker combination
Asakura Ayumi’s locker is the only one you need to open to progress through the game. It’s also the only locker combination that changes depending on the puzzle difficulty you have set. You’ll get the clue to Asakura Ayumi’s locker in either a notebook on story difficulty or in the annex hallway on harder difficulties, but it’ll be in “girl code,” so you’ll need to figure out how to convert that to a numerical locker combination.
Story
The story difficulty clue has them talking about how much they love the sea, saying that the sea is so lovely they made it their locker combination.
Translating that from girl code, you get the combination 534.
Hard
The hard difficulty clue has them talking about how much they love the bus, saying that they love it so much they made it their locker combination. As said in a note, girl code dictates that the number 6 represents the letter U, even though they don’t really look alike.
Translating from girl code, you get the combination 865.
Lost in the Fog
The hardest difficulty sees you looking for a combination for something Asakura Ayasumi loves: a “delicious” ingredient that can be poached, fried, boiled, or mixed into a cake with flour and sugar. The answer here is clearly eggs.
Translating egg into girl code, you get the combination 399.
