Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar – How to farm Honey
By Ryan Woodrow

There are many products that will turn a profit in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, but perhaps none yield the greatest reward for the least effort as Honey, at least in the early game. However, it does take a bit of investment to set up, and even once you have, the mechanics of how Honey is generated aren’t immediately obvious.
So, we’ll explain everything. How to unlock beekeeping, how to generate and harvest Honey, and how to get the most out of what you gather. It takes a bit of stamina to get Honey, but you can increase your capacity by finding Power Berries in SoS: Grand Bazaar.

How to unlock Beekeeping – SoS: Grand Bazaar
A few days into Spring, you’ll unlock the mountains region and meet Arata, then, you’ll need to raise your Bazaar to Rank 3. This will unlock a request from Arata to set up a stall at the Bazaar. You’ll need to make him a 1-star Egg-Over-Rice and a 1-star Grilled Fish, both of which shouldn’t be too difficult as long as you’ve been tending to your farm properly and talking to the sprites to level up your fish.
Complete his request, and on the next Bazaar day, he’ll have a stall with two upgrades at first. One to unlock a Beehive, the other for a Mushroom Log. Both cost 10,000g, though he can only do one at once, so buy the Beehive first.
How to get bees and farm honey – SoS: Grand Bazaar
There will be no bees in the hive at first, but that’s because you need to attract them with flowers. You can’t plant seeds here, so you’ll need to gather fully-grown flowers and place them in the plot around the Beehive.
If you place wildflowers that you gather from around town, the bees will generate regular honeycombs. If you place flowers that you grew on your farm, the bees will generate both Invigorating and Mellow honeycombs, which are more valuable. However, both types of flowers have a rare chance to generate Royal honeycombs, which are the most valuable of all.
Once you’ve placed the flowers, come by every three days to harvest the honey.
How to process Honeycombs – SoS: Grand Bazaar
Honeycombs can be processed in the Blue Windmill into jars of honey, which sell for quite a good price at the Bazaar, though they do take a good few hours to process, so make sure you don’t leave it too close to Saturday to get your honey processed.
How to upgrade your honey – SoS: Grand Bazaar
Near the Beehive area, you’ll find one of the little sprites dressed like a bee. You’ll need to give your honey and honeycombs to her to level her up, and every four levels, the quality of your honey will increase by half a star. Increasing the quality of your honey increases both how much it’s worth and the quality of the dishes you can create with it. So it’s worth sacrificing a couple of jars from each harvest to gradually increase your profits.
