Once you’ve picked which of the villagers you want to spend the rest of your life with in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, all that remains is to win them over and to get married. We’ve already covered the best gifts for every romancable character in Grand Bazaar, but this guide is about the specific requirements you need to meet before you can officially marry them.
We’ll explain all of that, as well as answer a few questions about romance in this game.

Can you romance the same gender?
Yes, SoS: Grand Bazaar lets you romance whoever you want, regardless of your character’s gender or pronouns.
Can you romance multiple people?
You can date multiple people in SoS: Grand Bazaar. However, you can only marry one. This lets you see what the romance path is like for each character before fully locking into one for the long term.
What are the requirements for marriage?
When you reach 6 hearts with a character, you’ll be able to get a heart event where you can start dating them. Then, when you reach 8 hearts, marriage becomes an option, but you must first have met the following requirements:
- Reach Bazaar Rank 4
- Bought the Double-Bed upgrade from Wilbur at the Bazaar
Once you’ve done this, the next day, you’ll wake up to Stuart and Sonia explaining that marriage is proposed with a Blue Feather. Present this item to the person you wish to marry, and preparations for your wedding will get underway!
