Umamusume: Best characters for URA Finale tier list
By Marco Wutz

The URA Finale is the first scenario available for Umamusume: Pretty Derby’s career mode and is therefore the story players will engage with the most. You will take your Trainee through their first three years of racing, aiming to participate in the URA Finale to crown their junior career.
Umamusume being a roguelite game, every playthrough is going to be a little different thanks to a variety of factors — the Trainee you choose, the legacies and cards you bring, and the events that transpire. Of course, you’ll have different milestones to hit as well. But there is a meta level to this, too: Sometimes, you’ll simply want to farm G1-level races to gain materials for unlocking the Potential of characters. Sometimes, you’ll train the perfect Umamusume to add to your team in Team Trials. And sometimes, you simply want to fulfill the dreams of an adorable horse girl.
While the latter two objectives make a tier list irrelevant, for the heart (or the PvP meta) wants what it wants, some characters are better suited for comfy farming runs. These are the best characters for URA Finale in Umamusume.
Umamusume character tier list – URA Finale
To emphasize once more: This tier list is not necessarily a reflection of power. You can win the URA Finale scenario with any Umamusume in the game. Consider this list as an indicator for how comfortable characters will make a run with high tier characters leading to easier runs and lower tier characters forcing you to lock in to succeed.
S+-Tier Umamusume
These Umamusume generally have the easiest time in the URA Finale scenario thanks to a few factors. Among these are beneficial stat growth bonuses, useful story events, fairly uniform race calendar, and forgiving campaign objectives.

- [Innocent Silence] Silence Suzuka (SSR)
- [O Sole Duo!] T.M. Opera O (SSR)
- [Blossom in Training] Sakura Bakushin O (R)
S-Tier Umamusume
Umamusume in this tier still provide a fairly easy time in URA Finale, the stars simply don’t align just as much for them as for the characters a tier above.

B-Tier Umamusume
These Umamusume will give you the biggest challenges on the way to the URA Finale — not because they lack potential or talent, but because of certain gimmicks in their events that will make it more difficult to manage training, energy, and mood, or because their schedule forces them to participate in such a wild variety of races that makes picking the right skills difficult.
- [Rosy Dreams] Rice Shower (SSR)
- [MB-19890425] Mihono Bourbon (SSR)
- [pf. Winning Equation] Biwa Hayahide (SSR)
- [Red Strife] Gold Ship (SR)
- [King of Emeralds] King Halo (R)
With characters like Gold Ship and Mejiro McQueen being very popular and successful in Team Trials, it’s certainly worth tackling even the more difficult campaigns — and when in doubt, pick whichever Umamusume you like.
