Wuthering Waves – Zani build and materials guide

Get to work with the best Wuthering Waves Zani build and crack open a cold one once you’re done. Zanzi is a 5-Star Resonator dealing Spectro DMG and using Gauntlets in combat. As one of the most reliable employees of the Montelli family, she’s often tasked with the toughest jobs, but her kit gives her the capabilities to cope with that.

Zani’s Resonance Skill, Restless Watch, deals Spectro DMG and allows her to enter the Block stance, which can deflect the next incoming attack and trigger a counter that additionally lowers the enemy’s Vibration Strength. The Skill also has an enhanced state, which immunizes Zani to interruption and deals additional Spectro DMG.

Her Resonance Liberation, Between Dawn and Dusk, comes in two forms as well. As far as Zani’s best Main Echo is concerned, you’re looking at Capitaneus or Nightmare: Mourning Aix. Both can provide additional Spectro DMG, though Mourning Aix is to be preferred for its additional synergy with Spectro Frazzle.

In terms of stats, it’s best to focus on grabbing additional CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and ATK for Zani.

Best Zani teams – Wuthering Waves

As mentioned further above, Zani is a fantastic Main DPS for Spectro-focused teams, but she tends to lose a lot of her effectiveness outside of such compositions.

• Zani (Main DPS), Phoebe (Sub DPS), Shorekeeper (Support)

Phoebe is undoubtedly the best companion for Zani. She can apply enough Spectro Frazzle to enemies to refill Zani’s Blaze completely so that she has access to her full slate of abilities once she enters Inferno Mode — and then there’s all the Amplification and Resistance shredding she provides. Rover (Spectro) is the best alternative, but falls far short of what Phoebe can do.

Shorekeeper and Verina are the best healers to go with this core team, both contributing tons of buffs in addition to their HP restoration.
