The Fierce Deity armor set is one of the best in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as it gives you a boost to your attacking power, much like the Barbarian Armor in TotK, making it great for tackling tough bosses. This set is scattered around Hyrule, and all you get are some vague clues to its location, so we’ll take you through finding all three pieces of this armor set and the rewards you can get once you’ve found them.

Follow our full walkthrough for the Misko’s Cave of Chests quest and finding the Fierce Deity armor.

You can find the cave and associated quest just behind the Kisinona Shrine, which overlooks the Foothill Stable.

Outside, you’ll find Prissen and Domidak discussing the treasure inside and lamenting their inability to find it. They’ll also point out the nearby dog.

Head into the cave and you’ll find it’s full of chests, most of which contain a single rupee. You can either go and tame the dog outside with meat to get it to take you to the right chest, or you can shake the chests out of the walls and open them all until you find what you need.

Eventually, you’ll uncover the Ember Trousers, at which Prissen and Domidak will come in and express their annoyance at you finding the treasure. You’ll then be given a note in a bottle that hints at the location of the three pieces of the Fierce Deity armor.

First up, the Fierce Deity Mask is in Skull Lake. You need to jump down the hole at the top of the tall pillar. Be warned, there is a Stalnox down there that will be a tough enemy to fight, but you can grab the mask without having to fight it if you’re nimble.

The Fierce Deity Armor is atop the Akkala Citadel Ruins. In the ruined building at the very top, look for red carpet on the floor and follow it until you find a small hole in the wall, the armor is in there. Again, there is a tough miniboss roaming the area, but you can avoid it.

Finally, head to the western edge of Hyrule Field and go into the Ancient Tree Stump. Follow the cave around and cut through some vines to get the Fierce Deity boots. You now have the armor assembled, but there’s still one more thing to do.

This high-damage two-handed sword is a powerful weapon. To get it, return to the cave where you found the note in a bottle while wearing all three pieces of the Fierce Deity Armor. The big stone wall will slide open, revealing the chest containing the sword.
