Aether and Lumine VAs confirm return to Genshin Impact
By Marco Wutz

There is good news for Genshin Impact fans following the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike: Aether and Lumine will keep their original voice actors. Both Zach Aguilar and Sarah Miller-Crews have confirmed that they will return to their roles, although it won’t be in time for Version 5.7.
While the sibling duo will remain muted in the upcoming patch, the announcement is a relief for fans, who’d been fearing that the two characters would have their VAs replaced just like HSR’s Trailblazer.
“I’m coming back to voice Aether in Genshin Impact! Not gonna be in 5.7 due to timing. Thank you Hoyo and the entire team. Aether means the world to me. It’s been a blessing working on the game these past 5 years and I’m thrilled to continue. Love you guys,” Aguilar posted on X.
Miller-Crews responded with a post of her own, writing: “I can’t wait to continue the adventure! I’ve missed Lumine so much, I’m excited that we’ll be back in Teyvat soon.”
One of the last remaining question marks for Genshin Impact is Dainsleif, who will play a large role in Version 5.7, but is likely to be muted as well. Yuri Lowenthal hasn’t confirmed his return for the future yet either, so the Twilight Sword might be a candidate for a high-profile recast.
