Arc Raiders pre-orders and open stress test announced

Embark also revealed the Deluxe Edition goodies

Arc Raiders is getting an open stress test for an entire weekend ahead of its October 30 launch. Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players will be able to head topside and duke it out in the robot-infested badlands between October 17-19, with no pre-registration required. 

Anyone who takes part in Server Slam will get an exclusive backpack cosmetic at launch. 

Arc Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter, but don’t let that put you off. Since I played the closed beta, it’s all I’ve been able to think about. From the ear-splitting sound design to the systemic play and emergent moments, it’s the most exciting multiplayer game I’ve touched in years.

The Server Slam will take place entirely on a single map, Dam Battlegrounds, and will have quests and progression unlocked. Progress made during the test will reset ahead of launch, however. 

“We’re excited to welcome Raiders to the Server Slam — this is where we’ll really put Arc Raiders through its paces ahead of full launch,” executive producer Aleksander Grøndal said. 

“Our goal is simple: make sure that on October 30, when the servers go live, every player experiences the game exactly as we’ve intended — polished, balanced, and ready for action. Thanks for joining us — let's prepare to go topside.”

Pre-orders for Arc Raiders are now live. Pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition include the Astro Bundle bonus along with all base game content.
