Embark announces ARC Raiders release date for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Embark Studios has announced that ARC Raiders will be released on October 30, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The extraction shooter from the makers of The Finals already had a playtest earlier this year and it seems like the developers gained enough confidence from that to lock in a launch date.

“The tech test was the best rehearsal we could get, ahead of what's shaping up as a big release this fall,” commented the PvPvE shooter’s executive producer, Aleksander Grøndal. “It’s clear that players recognize the passion, effort, and craftsmanship that’s been poured into the making of ARC Raiders.”

He added that “the test also honed in on concrete things we’re addressing in this last stretch of development.”

Grøndal specifically named bugfixing, performance optimization, and fine-tuning game balance as well as the player economy as the areas the studio will focus on in these months. In addition, the studio wants to improve the onboarding experience for new players to the unforgiving genre.

“At release, the game will be further expanded, with more locations to explore, more adventures to embark on, and more for players to strive towards and discover,” Grøndal said.

ARC Raiders supports solo and squad play with teams of up to three players and shares its visual flair with Embark's successful debut title.
