ARC Raiders Server Slam start times revealed for PC, PS5, and Xbox

A final opportunity to test the game ahead of launch.
Embark Studios

Embark Studios is putting the finishing touches on its upcoming extraction shooter ARC Raiders at the moment, which includes one final test of the game and its server infrastructure.

The ARC Raiders Server Slam will be free to enter for anyone on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S — no codes or invites required. For the developers, this will be an opportunity to get practice for launch day and see how the game’s servers are holding up. Additionally, the data gathered from the test might be useful for early bugfixes and balance adjustments in the release version, giving the developers a bit of a head start on developing the first updates.

Please note that the developers are planning on a slow server rollout to avoid crashes, so it’s possible that you won’t be able to get into the game right on the hour and will have to be a bit more patient before you can jump into the action.

Since there won’t be a preload option for this Server Slam, you’ll have to download the game first anyway, which should spread out players’ arrival times in a natural way.

The ARC Raiders developers recently detailed their vision of voluntary wipe mechanics, showing that they are willing to innovate on genre conventions to benefit players.
