Ubisoft has revealed an update roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, detailing changes and features coming to the game over the next couple of months.
The next update for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S game is set to arrive on July 29, 2025. It will introduce a New Game+ mode, which will be available after the final mission. It will reset the story and objective board as well as your discovered locations, but preserve your level, abilities, gear, knowledge rank, and hideout progression.
This update will also increase the level cap from 60 to 80 in addition to introducing more mastery and knowledge skill ranks and upgrades for the hideout. Additional progression upgrades will be arriving later this summer.
At the beginning of September, a quality-of-life update will arrive with a long-awaited time-of-day skip feature. In addition, it will introduce the following changes:
- The world map unfogging after completing viewpoint synchronization (per region).
- A new Forge upgrade level to reach Mythic (from Epic) and Artifact (from Legendary) equipment rarities.
- Hideout Updates and Upgrades.
- Uncapped framerate for cutscenes (PC only).
- Additional goodies that may be familiar to long-time series fans.
- Further bug fixes and stability improvements.
Shortly afterwards, on September 16, the Claws of Awaji DLC will arrive with a new region, weapon, skills, gear, enemy faction, and story chapter.
