Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora set to get third-person mode and New Game+ ahead of DLC launch
By Marco Wutz

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will get a major update on December 5, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, which will allow you to experience the title from a third-person perspective. New Game+ is on the agenda for this patch as well, Ubisoft confirmed. Further details on the update have not yet been revealed.
This update will set the stage for the arrival of From the Ashes, an expansion for the game due to launch on December 19. Inspired by Avatar: Fire and Ash, the upcoming next movie installment of the franchise set to debut on the same day, From the Ashes takes place shortly after the main story. Players will take on the role of So’lek, a hardened Na’vi warrior who’s looking for revenge against the treasonous Ash clan, which has allied itself with the RDA.
