EA reveals Battlefield 6 Season 1 roadmap and teases naval combat

EA has revealed the roadmap for Season 1 of Battlefield 6, which is set to bring free content to the game starting on October 28, 2025. It looks like the season is divided into three parts, all of them coming with their own roster of new content — an ambitious schedule.
Rogue Ops – October 28

California Resistance – November 18
- Eastwood (Map)

- M357 Trait (Sidearm)

- Troy Angled (Attachment)
Winter Offensive – December 9
- Ice Lock Empire State (Limited Time Event Map)
- Ice Lock (Limited Time Event)
- Ice Climbing Axe (Melee Weapon)
Additionally, EA has teased the future introduction of naval combat to Battlefield 6, stating that “requests for naval warfare have not gone unnoticed” in its latest blog post. EA added that the same goes for “a certain fan-favorite little helicopter, platoons, and more.”
Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Its launch comes at a historical turning point for the company, which is set to be owned by private equity and Saudi Arabia following a $55 billion USD deal.
