Treyarch and Raven Software are currently working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the next entry into Activision’s popular first-person shooter franchise. While the game was recently revealed at the latest Xbox Games Showcase, not much information about it has been shared officially.

However, an accidental leak from the developers themselves has revealed two new multiplayer that are currently being tested for the upcoming title.

Internal messages informing developers of this weekend’s playtest content were accidentally published for everyone to read on the Call of Duty app on Xbox. Though it didn’t take long to correct the mistake, CharlieIntel archived the images on X (Post 1, Post 2).

A game mode called Skirmish is described as a showdown between two teams of 20 players on a large map with a variety of objectives — capturing points of interest, destroying payloads, and transmitting data. The twist is that all players get access to wingsuits, allowing them to navigate around the map quickly and nimbly.

Another mode, Overload, features two teams of six players fighting for control of a neutral EMP device that must be transported into the enemy HQ to score — it’s a bit of a twist on the classic Capture the Flag.
