Death Stranding 2 is completed

Hideo Kojima has announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has gone gold, posting photos of the Death Stranding 2 gold master copy and himself on social media. Though going gold isn’t as significant in the digital age of video games, it’s still a substantial milestone ahead of a game’s release.
Death Stranding 2 is set to come to PS5 on June 24, 2025, and has been described as being similar to the original in terms of gameplay, but with more stuff and a bit more refined — pretty much the ideal sequel in the eyes of most fans.
Players will have to connect Mexico and Australia to the chiral network this time, making their deliveries in hostile territory and withstanding extreme weather conditions. Though exploring, delivering, and connecting are still the main focus, combat has been greatly expanded. Users will have to pay attention to lots of new details as well, such as the time of day impacting the temperature of their cargo.
Customizable backpacks and vehicles as well as expanded transportation options, such as ramps that shoot players through the air, will be available in the sequel. Long treks should be more enjoyable thanks to the unlockable music player, which lets players collect tracks and curate their own playlists.
