The Epic Games Store continues to dish out free video games to the masses and next up is the latest title developed by Arkane Lyon — Deathloop. You can claim Deathloop for PC on its Epic Games Store page until June 12, 2025.

Released in 2021, the first-person shooter combines immersive sim elements with a time loop concept to create a unique game of trial-and-error, in which players need to be creative to get out of the loop they’re captured in.

The title received strong reviews and ended up winning several awards – including Best Game Direction and Best Art Direction at The Game Awards 2021 – but failed to have corresponding commercial success. By February 2023, the game reached over five million players across all platforms.

Arkane Lyon is currently working on Marvel’s Blade and escaped the fate of its sister studio in Austin, which was shut down after its final project, the co-op shooter Redfall, flopped.
